A list of registered companies and key data about each company. Open data from company registers may be used for many ends: e.g. enabling customers and businesses to see with whom they deal, or to see where a company has registered offices. This definition draws on the work of OpenCorporates.

| Collected by government | Yes | In fact, in Cameroon, several institutions collect information about companies : National Institute of Statistics, Cameroon Chamber of Commerce, Directorate General of Taxation, etc. I tried to find data on website of Chamber of Commerce, identifying the website name and do Google site searches (site:www.ccima.cm "entreprise" AND "registre"). The NSO provides statistics on registered enterprises (outdated data from 2009 and 2010 , as well as lists of the 100 biggest enterprises in terms of turnover. |

I identified companies based on the names of the legal person. Owner name is not explicitly provided as a column name. Companies have no owner name provided at all. Individual persons may count as owner, but that does not qualify. |
