Environmental data is provided by many third-parties. Deforestation is provided by Moabi. Moabi DRC is a collaborative mapping initiative that aims to increase transparency and accountability on resource issues in DRC. It’s part of the project, Improving Forest Governance through independent monitoring in the Democratic of Congo - a multi-partner project building the institutions and tools necessary to independently monitoring natural resources across DRC. The project’s current focus is developing an independently monitoring approach for REDD+. Partners: https://rdc.moabi.org/partners/en/. Also the World Resources Institute (WRI) and USAID provide data as part of the Congo Basin Forest Atlases. The WRI partners with the Ministry of Environment & Sustainable Development (MEDD) to develop the Interactive Forest Atlas of the Democratic Republic of Congo and to build the capacity of forest stakeholders in remote sensing, GIS, and forest information management. This partnership aims to strengthen forest management and land use planning by bringing all major land use categories onto the same platform. Forest maps can be found here: https://www.wri.org/our-work/project/congo-basin-forests/democratic-republic-congo#project-tabs Air pollution data is provided by Kinshasa University: https://www.omicsonline.org/open-access/toxic-heavy-metals-in-ambient-air-of-kinshasa-democratic-republic-congo-2380-2391-1000178.php?aid=72845, The government-owned company REGIDESO is responsible for water management but does not provide pollution data. A news article points towards poor water management and issues with water pollution: https://fr.allafrica.com/stories/201503270742.html
