Data should include maps of lands with parcel layer and display parcel boundaries in addition to a land registry with information on transactions of parcels of land. The assessment criteria were developed in collaboration with Cadasta Foundation. Because of land conflicts there are recent efforts to reform land rights governance from 2015 onwards. https://www.foncier-developpement.fr/pays/republique-democratique-du-congo/ Only mining cadastres are available online to the public, provided by the DRC Cadastre Minier (CAMI) and published via Trimble’s data portal. It includes geographic coordinates and boundaries of mining areas. The Ministre des Affaires foncières et du domaine public started in mid 2016 with the digitisation of cadastral maps: https://www.radiookapi.net/2016/08/23/actualite/societe/rdc-debut-de-loperation-de-numerisation-du-cadastre-national-lubumbashi CERENE Services (https://www.cerene-services.fr/) a French company have developed a cadastre of DRC for forest areas. In 2016 there was a press release (https://landportal.org/fr/news/2016/03/lentreprise-auboise-cerene-va-cartographier-les-for%C3%AAts-du-congo) that they want to map forest areas. The goal is to address deforestation.
