A list of registered companies and key data about each company. Open data from company registers may be used for many ends: e.g. enabling customers and businesses to see with whom they deal, or to see where a company has registered offices. This definition draws on the work of OpenCorporates.

| characteristics | Name of company, Physical company location, Unique identifier per company | El Mouchir is manually updated and includes even national agencies and others. Data is not very accurate but El Mouchir is the only data source available. Unique identifiers are provided for some companies, see herehttps://elmouchir.caci.dz/seaal-socit-des-eaux-et-de-lassainissement-dalger-1146.html register collects contact names, but not in a standardised way, and not requiring to identify owners. Ownership is not always available below examples where you can find the owner (company legal form is Ets or SARL) It seems that the total amount of companies (including all legal forms, not only SARLs (limit liability companies) amounts to roughly 170k. SARLs newly created in 2016 amounted to 7k.If we assume that El Mouchir reflects 10% of all companies, I would argue the register is not available for the country. |
