Procurement 15% open

Algeria

What data is expected?

All tenders and awards of the national/federal government aggregated by office. Do not consider procurement planning or other procurement phases. Open procurement data may enable fairer competition among companies, allow to detect fraud, as well as deliver better services for governments and citizens. The Index draws on work from the Open Contracting Partnership.

Original submission linked to https://www.algeriatenders.com/, mentioned it was obtained from the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is not technically a government agency. Even though you can find at least the call for Tenders on Algeria Tenders, it doesn't seem to be doing this on behalf of the government since the Ministry of Finance has a Public Procurement office that seems to have done this until 2016 https://www.mf.gov.dz/rubriques/68/Avis-d%E2%80%99appels-d%E2%80%99offres.html and has a notice of the official Public Procurement website to be under construction https://www.mf.gov.dz/article/49/March%C3%A9s-publics/563/Site-web-des-March%C3%A9s-Publics.html. Suggested changes then are to add the publisher as Ministry of Finance, with no data available
