A geographical map of the country including national traffic routes, stretches of water, markings of heights, and administrative zones. The map must at least be provided at a scale of 1:250,000 (1 cm = 2.5km). Geographic information is instrumental for many use cases, including the mapping of unemployment statistics or demographics, as well as journey planning.

| findable_steps | I went to the Government portal and made searches at the Ministry of Lands, Country Planning and the Environment, Environmental Protection Agency and Statistics Sierra Leone. I could not get anything useful so I made telephone calls and got assistance from an official of Statistics Sierra Leone who emailed the Census Atlas to me that contains figures and maps relating top the 2015 Census. The can be googled and downloaded freely. | |

| Collector name | Statistics Sierra Leone | I was referred to the Environmental Protection Agency, the Ministry of Lands Country Planning and the Environment, the Geography Department at Fourah Bay College for more information but I could get anything useful. It was only Statistics Sierra Leone the emailed me the Census Atlas of Sierra Leone. Even at that, the atlas is missing from their website. |

I have found no official statement related to whom is in charge of storing&collecting geographical information for creating national maps.
